2012 and 2013 brought about a lot of changes to BI content and how it is both developed and deployed. Whether its development time or license costs, new options bring new pros and cons. Businesses need to sift through the details so they can determine the best fit for their organization.  A live demonstration will be given, showing how to mobilize a dashboard, Web Intelligence report, and an Exploration View.

2:30 – 2:45pm   Break/Networking

2:45 – 3:30pm   Mobile BI Landscape

Chris Kruger, InfoSol

As the landscape for mobile business intelligence solutions for SAP BusinessObjects users’ changes rapidly, more companies are moving from the “toe in the water” stage to actually paddling in the water with both feet!  There are many choices of solutions – some leverage existing investments in BusinessObjects infrastructure and development, while others require completely new design and development. Some use streaming technology and render content on the mobile device without changes and some are developed natively for the mobile device taking full advantage of the device technology and integrating seamlessly with other native mobile applications.  This session delivered 100% from an iPad cuts through the marketing hype and shows the different mobile BI solution choices that are real and work with SAP BusinessObjects in action so you can compare them side by side.

3:30 – 4:00pm   Roundtable Discussion:  Moving from 3.1 to 4.x

4:00 pm   Wrap-up
