Following the phenomenal success of “The Seven Deadly Sins of Dashboard Design”, BI Dashboard Evangelist, Paul Grill, shifts the focus to highlighting some remarkable BI dashboards – how they came about, the impact they had and the people that made them happen. The engagement of the business user is critical to both the success and user adoption of any BI solution. In the case studies covered, the users play critical roles in the idea, the design and the result and will show the importance of best practices in making the user experience the number one priority. The examples will range from an analysis of hospital patient flow to saving the world’s remaining tiger population.

This presentation will be a live demo of v4.1/v4.2 and will highlight the many new features introduced in v4.1 and coming attractions in v4.2. It will include adding new data provider types including Excel files and Free Hand SQL. Changes in the way we Merge dimensions will also be covered in depth.
