When designing the dashboard, you need to keep in mind that on mobile devices you won’t have the pinpoint precision selection of a mouse, but rather users will be using their fingers. For most organizations, the BI system becomes more challenging to understand and manage over time. As the quantity of system content grows, the obstacles to clear visibility become even greater. Developing a clear picture becomes critical for effective ongoing BI operations, BI governance, migrations, and compliance needs. This session will look at this range of requirements and solutions to address them, including the new capabilities in BI 4.2 (BI Admin Cockpit), and extended system auditing and monitoring capabilities.

Managing security, auditing your Business Objects environment, performing backups and restores, managing versions, running impact analysis are all very important tasks that need to be performed in order to maintain a healthy Business Objects environment. Even though some of these tasks can be performed within the CMC “Central Management Console”, the 360Suite of tools can provide a more viable approach to performing these functions while providing an easy to use interface into the existing CMS environments. In this session we will walk through some of the features of 360View, 360Plus and 360Eyes so you can quickly see the power of the 360Suite.
