Topics to include: Excel and Free Hand SQL as a data provider, Large numbers, grouping, Input Control enhancements, Prompt Variants, Grouped Input Controls, Shared Elements, Referencing, Calculation enhancements, Concurrent processing of queries, and merging on local variables. It will also include new features in the IDT. Changes within the service packs will also be addressed.

ARI is the largest privately owned Vehicle Fleet Management company in the world with operations in North America and Europe. Managing over a million vehicles on behalf of their clients, they collect and analyze an enormous amount of data that can provide invaluable business intelligence to their clients.
The Fleet management VP was looking for a Fleet Health Card that could show key analytics in terms of vehicle spend, fuel habits, preventative maintenance and vehicle utilization that could provide new insights for their customers. Using SAP BusinessObjects Dashboards (Xcelsius) on HANA, ARI delivered a solution that exceeded all expectations.

Regressions or Calculation Engine changes are always tricky to find in SAP BusinessObjects or any complex Enterprise software. GB&Smith will present use cases around Regression testing and a workflow to track, spot and perform Impact Analysis. Regressions happen after a service pack implementation, upgrade, migration, changes on universes, tables’ modifications in Data Warehouse, etc.
