Designing BI Dashboards is just as much an art as it is a science and to create both effective and attractive dashboards requires skill in both disciplines. While many have lectured and written about best practices to follow when creating any data visualization interface, these same individuals often praise dashboards that clearly transgress these guidelines. Paul Grill, CEO and Founder of InfoSol and BI Dashboard Evangelist, will show how the 7 deadly sins – wrath, greed, sloth, pride, lust, envy, and gluttony – can be applied to the common pitfalls encountered by BI dashboard designers and developers and show a path, less traveled, that can be followed to Dashboard heaven.
