Tuesday, February 20th at 10AM PT/1PM ET

Despite numerous great features and advantages of native components within SAP Dashboards, developers often face challenges when building complex and large dashboards. The first major challenge is that the work cannot be divided among multiple developers due to its lack of capability to merge and share dashboard projects. The second challenge is faced when the number of components increase causing the loading, previewing and over-all navigation of the dashboard to slow down.

Join us and Expert Dashboard Developer Runali Ghosh, as she demonstrates and discusses examples of Advanced iFrame; an add-on component that enables developing large dashboards with several tabs and pages. A solution that permits multiple developers to work in parallel, improving the performance of the Dashboard as well as the Design.

Tuesday, January 10th at 10AM PT/1PM ET

Join us and expert Dashboard developer, Roxanne Pittman as we explore connecting BusinessObjects Dashboards to BusinessObjects reporting. One great option we have in our BusinessObjects tool belt is the use of the OpenDocument call to open a Webi or Crystal report from a URL link. We can use this tool in Xcelsius/SAP BO Dashboards as well to further expand the usability and drive action by adding a link from the dashboard to a Webi or Crystal report. In this session, Roxanne will demonstrate and discuss how to create a link from Dashboards to reports while also demonstrating the capability to pass parameters from the dashboard as prompts to the report, so that the detail report opens at just the right level of detail needed for complete analysis.

Presenter: Roxanne Pittman, InfoSol

Roxanne is a Senior BI Consultant and has been with InfoSol for 9 years now. In addition to being a multi-certified instructor in reporting, universe and dashboard design, Roxanne has experience working with Fortune 500 companies as a consultant in the deployment of business intelligence solutions across the United States as well as in Europe, Australia and the Middle East. Let's Speak BO Webinar Nationwide Transportation Company’s KPI Dashboard Customer Case Study January 24 2017

Tuesday, January 24th at 10AM PT/1PM ET

A major national transportation company had the requirements to be able to quickly model and visualize their data through some form of application, providing rapid insight into performance of several KPIs– trend, actual and targets. Their goal was to provide users access to the dashboard both from iPad and desktop to view this important information in a timely manner.

After they looked into several software solutions, Business Objects Dashboards 4.1 (formally Xcelsius) was identified as the ideal tool and InfoSol was engaged to developed the application for them. InfoBurst Enterprise was not only heavily used for caching of their vast amounts of data, but it also played a key role in the success of the project to support drill down through multiple hierarchies and the ability to compare actual vs. target and trending analysis at each hierarchy level.

In this customer case study session, Runali Ghosh, expert Dashboard Developer to the project will share how Dashboards 4.1 and InfoBurst created this powerful application as she will demonstrate some of the unique features used to achieve the functionality rarely considered possible to be done by a dashboard design software.

Presenter: Runali Ghosh, InfoSol Inc.
